Yes—many Dr. Martens styles can be resoled, depending on their construction.
Most of our iconic styles like the 1460, 1461, and Jadon use Goodyear welt construction, which allows a skilled cobbler to remove and replace the sole. However, some styles—especially lighter or fashion-focused designs—use cemented (glued) construction, which typically cannot be resoled.
Dr. Martens does not offer resoling services, but we recommend visiting a cobbler familiar with Goodyear-welted footwear.
